STIM-REI 2.0, a project of the Centre of Excellence for Science and Technology – Integration of the Mediterranean Region (STIM), connects Research (R), Innovation (I), and Education (E) through four project components based on the international excellence of scientists and the selection of research directions of key importance for societal needs. The project is a continuation of the successfully implemented STIM-REI project.

Our project:

The STIM Centre has received a funding decision for the STIM-REI 2.0 project (Croatian: istraživanje, inovacija, edukacija – English: Research, Education, Innovation), contract number PK.1.1.10.0005, under the call “Scientific Centres of Excellence” (call code: PK.1.1.10) within the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2021–2027.

This project will push the boundaries of research and knowledge and contribute to the development of new technologies and innovations. It will strengthen the achievement of internationally recognized and nationally relevant research results, with a focus on the development of new technologies and their application in industry, taking into account the latest European and global trends. The knowledge gained from the previous project continues within the new project, now with a stronger emphasis on the demonstration and transfer of developed innovative solutions in the fields of energy, environmental protection, and biomedicine.
