Tomorrow, 7 September 2026, the two-day international workshop “Building ERC-Competitive Research: Unlocking ERC Success – Smart Preparation & Winning Strategies” begins at the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MedILS) in Split. The workshop is dedicated to strengthening the preparation of competitive proposals for European Research Council (ERC) calls.For those who are interested but unable to join us in person, the first day of the workshop will also be available to follow online via Zoom.
The programme for the first day will provide an overview of the opportunities offered by the ERC, discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing researchers from Widening countries, experiences and insights from successful ERC applicants and grantees, as well as sessions focusing on proposal preparation and the evaluation process.
